"What are you trying to say?"

This question has plagued me my whole life. I've always been a storyteller, tuned in to the world around me and trying to make sense of it. From the moment I picked up a camera, I knew I had found a tool that would allow me to visualize and project my voice to the world. So what was I going to do with it?

After college, I didn't quite have the answer yet. I received my Bachelor of Science in Visual Journalism from Brooks Institute in 2016, and then spent a few years in Los Angeles working on feature films like War for the Planet of the Apes and Ad Astra. I gained valuable experience working on those movies, but quickly realized that wasn't where my passion lay. I had to come back to documentary media.

Moving forward, I am ardently focused on stories surrounding social justice, intersectional feminism, liberation and radical change. I hope to empower and uplift my subjects through striking visual narratives.

So what am I trying to say? Your story is the one I care about. Your experience deserves to be shared. Let's talk.
